Information counter for non-Japanese residents
Life-related information (about community associations, tax, insurance, rules concerning daily life, trash separation, school systems, Japanese language lessons, the Multicultural Exchange Center, etc.) is provided on the 1st floor of the main building of the city hall, to help foreign residents who have just moved into Iwata City to start their lives here.
Monday to Friday（except national holidays）
8:30 to 12:00,13:00 to 17:00
Portuguese is available.
(Tagalog and English are also available on Tuesday afternoon)
Rules on putting out trash
When putting out trash, please separate it into 11 categories. Trash collection days are different depending on the area you live in and the type of trash.
